Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the delivery function of a mid-sized, member-owned UK financial services organisation. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys taking projects from initiation through to completion, working closely with business and IT stakeholders and keeping delivery on track.

Job description

• Managing business and IT change projects end to end;
• Running several projects in parallel and managing competing priorities;
• Owning project plans, scope, budget, risks, issues and dependencies;
• Managing change control and maintaining strong delivery governance;
• Providing clear, concise project reporting to senior stakeholders;
• Working closely with UK-based business and technology teams;
• Identifying delivery risks and issues early and driving them towards resolution;
• Facilitating meetings, workshops and project governance as required.

Requirements

• 6 + years of hands-on Project Management experience;
• Recent experience delivering business and/or IT change projects;
• Experience in a consultancy or delivery organisation is a plus;
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk and issue management, dependencies, scope, budget and reporting;
• C1+ English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Confidence communicating directly with UK stakeholders, including senior colleagues;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently;
• Willingness to travel to the UK occasionally.

Nice to have

• Financial services or other regulated-industry experience;
• Experience working within larger programmes with multiple workstreams;
• Scrum, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification.

Salary:

• For employees: 4500 EUR to 6500 EUR monthly (gross).
• For contractors: 30 EUR to 45 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
