Test Design & Analysis : \n\n- Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality.\n\n- Prepare structured test scenarios, test cases and test coverage.\n\n- Create mind maps and identify positive, negative, boundary and integration scenarios.\n\n- Review existing manual test cases and identify opportunities for automation.\n\n- Ensure adequate coverage of functional and regression requirements.\n\n2. Test Automation : \n\n- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts for Android applications.\n\n- Convert defined manual test cases into reusable automation scripts.\n\n- Maintain automation scripts and improve their reliability and maintainability.\n\n- Execute automated regression and functional test suites.\n\n- Analyze automation failures and identify whether failures are related to application defects, test scripts or environment issues.\n\n- Contribute to improving automation coverage and reducing repetitive manual testing efforts.\n\n3. Android Application Testing : \n\n- Work with Android applications and understand basic Android application architecture and workflows.\n\n- Understand Android-specific testing requirements and application behaviour.\n\n- Execute functional and regression testing on Android applications/devices.\n\n- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, analyze and resolve application issues.\n\n- Candidates with hands-on experience in mobile automation will be preferred.\n\n4. Test Case & Quality Practices : \n\n- Follow testing best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\n\n- Participate in test planning, execution and defect verification.\n\n- Identify defects, document them clearly and track them through resolution.\n\n- Perform re-testing and regression testing after defect fixes.\n\n- Maintain appropriate test documentation and reports.\n\n5. Collaboration : \n\n- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, product teams and other stakeholders.\n\n- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies where required.\n\n- Communicate test results, automation status, defects and risks effectively.\n\n- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA and automation processes.\n\nMandatory Skills : \n\nCandidates should have strong hands-on experience in the following : \n\n- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation\n\n- Strong programming fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)\n\n- Python - Mandatory\n\n- Hands-on experience in Test Automation\n\n- Understanding of Android application testing\n\n- Experience with Git and GitHub\n\n- Good understanding of SDLC and software testing processes\n\n- Ability to design test cases from requirements\n\n- Experience in functional and regression testing\n\nGood to Have / Preferred Skills : \n\n- Java\n\n- Kotlin\n\n- Selenium\n\n- Robot Framework\n\n- Appium or other mobile automation frameworks\n\n- Android Studio / Android development fundamentals\n\n- API testing\n\n- CI/CD tools\n\n- Agile/Scrum methodology\n\n- Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools\n\nAI Tooling & Literacy : \n\nCandidates should have practical exposure or strong familiarity with modern AI-assisted developer tools such as : \n\n- Google Gemini\n\n- Claude Code\n\n- ChatGPT\n\n- GitHub Copilot\n\n- Other AI-assisted coding/testing tools\n\nThe candidate should be comfortable using AI tools to improve development, automation, debugging and testing productivity.\n\nRequired Technical Skills : \n\n- Test Automation : Mandatory\n\n- Python : Mandatory\n\n- OOP : Mandatory\n\n- Android Testing : Mandatory / Strong Preference\n\n- Git / GitHub : Mandatory\n\n- Java : Good to Have\n\n- Kotlin : Good to Have\n\n- Selenium : Good to Have\n\n- Robot Framework : Good to Have\n\n- Mobile Automation : Strong Advantage\n\n- AI Tools - Gemini / Claude Code : Preferred\n\n- SDLC / STLC : Mandatory\n\n- Test Case Design : Mandatory\n\nCandidate Profile : \n\nWe are looking for candidates who : \n\n- Have 5+ years of QA/Test Automation experience.\n\n- Have strong programming fundamentals and hands-on Python experience.\n\n- Have worked on Android/mobile applications.\n\n- Can independently design test cases and automation scripts.\n\n- Understand automation framework concepts and reusable test design.\n\n- Are comfortable working with Git/GitHub.\n\n- Can troubleshoot automation failures and application issues.\n\n- Are comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools.\n\n- Can attend a Face-to-Face interview in Bangalore tomorrow.\n\n- Can join immediately or within a short notice period.\n\nImportant - Please Apply Only If You Match : \n\nThis requirement is specifically for Android Test Automation.
