You will develop secure and scalable applications across the full stack, contribute to cloud and CI/CD delivery, support production stability, and provide technical guidance to other team members.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nDevelop and maintain front-end and back-end application components\n\nImplement business logic, responsive user interfaces, APIs, and database integrations\n\nDesign and secure RESTful APIs and web services\n\nApply security best practices for validation, authentication, authorization, storage, logging, and monitoring\n\nPerform unit and integration testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting\n\nDeploy and manage applications using cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes\n\nMonitor application stability and performance across lower environments\n\nPerform code reviews, mentoring, technical onboarding, and skills assessment\n\nCollaborate with QA teams and participate in requirements refinement and estimation\n\nMaintain technical documentation and high code-quality standards\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nUniversity degree corresponding to EQF Level 6, typically a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent\n\n12+ years of professional IT experience\n\nStrong Java backend experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development\n\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization\n\nExperience with WebLogic, JEE, and EJB\n\nExperience with AWS or Azure and cloud application deployment\n\nExperience designing and securing REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger\n\nStrong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT\n\nKnowledge of Angular, React, Vue, or Bootstrap\n\nExperience with Maven, GitLab, Bamboo, Jenkins, Nexus, or similar build and CI/CD tools\n\nExperience with Jira, Git, Bitbucket, and wiki-based collaboration tools\n\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes\n\nKnowledge of SOA and service bus architectures\n\nExperience with Agile and Scrum\n\nExperience with JUnit and Mockito\n\nExperience with SonarQube, SonarLint, HP Fortify, or similar code analysis tools\n\nExperience with Apache Camel and Drools\n\nExperience with AI coding tools such as Amazon Q or Kiro\n\nKnowledge of system analysis and project management is an asset\n\nStrong mentoring, communication, and leadership skills\n\nEnglish or French proficiency at B2 level or higher\n\nSoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
