Working across the full technology stack, you will help modernize mission-critical platforms, influence architectural decisions, and build high-quality software that delivers measurable value to end users\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nDesign and develop modern front-end architectures using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and contemporary frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js\n\nBuild and maintain secure backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Node.js, or PHP technologies\n\nCreate scalable RESTful APIs and web services while ensuring compliance with security and performance standards\n\nImplement business-critical functionality following software engineering best practices, coding standards, and design principles\n\nDevelop responsive, cross-browser web applications that deliver an excellent user experience across devices\n\nIntegrate distributed systems using API gateways, Kafka, Axon Server, and event-driven architectures\n\nOptimize application performance, database interactions, and system reliability across relational and non-relational databases\n\nEstablish CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep\n\nApply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, secure data handling, logging, and monitoring\n\nTroubleshoot, test, debug, and continuously improve software solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements\n\nProduce technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across engineering teams\n\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nUniversity degree corresponding to Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework (which typically corresponds to a master’s level or 5 years of higher education), and minimum 10 years of IT professional experience; or University degree corresponding to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework (which typically corresponds to a bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education) and minimum 12 years of IT professional experience\n\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for enterprise web application development\n\nAdvanced experience with Angular, React, Vue.js, Bootstrap, Webpack, or Vite.\n\nExtensive backend development expertise using Java, Spring Boot 3.4.x, Hibernate, REST APIs, Node.js, or PHP\n\nSolid experience designing and optimizing relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, as well as non-relational databases including MongoDB\n\nPractical expertise with Git-based development workflows and familiarity with SVN environments\n\nStrong understanding of cloud-native application development and operations within AWS or Azure environments\n\nHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions, including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep\n\nProven ability to design, build, secure, and document RESTful APIs using OpenAPI and Swagger standards\n\nExperience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployments\n\nAdvanced knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and modern identity management practices\n\nDemonstrated expertise with Kafka, Axon Server, Elasticsearch, and distributed system architectures\n\nExperience implementing API management solutions using WSO2 API Manager, Amazon API Gateway, Azure API Gateway, or Google Apigee\n\nIn-depth knowledge of CSDR and its practical application within enterprise environments\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams\n\nProfessional proficiency in English or French at B2 level or above\n\nSoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
