You will contribute to both frontend and backend development while ensuring platform reliability, performance, and scalability, independently investigating complex technical issues and delivering robust solutions.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nDevelop and customize Apache Superset functionality, including custom visualization plugins, charts, and UI enhancements\n\nExtend existing Superset frontend and backend components to address specific functional requirements\n\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues and provide ongoing production support for Apache Superset\n\nInvestigate and resolve performance, stability, and reliability issues across the platform\n\nWork with Superset architecture and supporting components, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery\n\nReview and improve existing platform architecture, configurations, and technical solutions\n\nSupport deployment, configuration, and optimization of Apache Superset in containerized environments\n\nIntegrate Superset with data sources such as PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams on platform enhancements, technical decisions, and ongoing improvements\n\nContribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering best practices\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nAt least 5+ years in software engineering, BI engineering, or analytics platform development\n\nStrong Python development skills, including backend debugging and working with APIs\n\nExperience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React for frontend development and customization\n\nStrong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases\n\nExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm (Deployment, configuration, scaling, operations)\n\nGood communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed engineering teams\n\nExperience with AWS services, particularly Amazon Redshift and CI/CD pipelines (nice-to-have)\n\nExperience with Apache Superset, including implementation, customization, and production support (as a plus)\n\nUpper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher\n\nSoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
