Working across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud environments, you will help deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions while contributing to architecture decisions, software quality, and the continuous evolution of critical business systems.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, covering frontend architecture, backend services, database integrations, and API development.\n\nBuild responsive, accessible, user-friendly interfaces while ensuring optimal performance and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.\n\nImplement and enhance core business functionality using Java and modern development frameworks to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions.\n\nDesign, develop, and secure RESTful APIs and web services, enabling seamless integration between applications and business systems.\n\nApply security and data management best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, secure data storage, logging, and monitoring.\n\nAnalyze application performance, troubleshoot defects, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective technical solutions.\n\nPerform unit and integration testing, validate code changes, maintain code quality standards, and ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.\n\nDeploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies, while producing clear technical documentation and supporting long-term maintainability.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\nExpert-level experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Hibernate\n\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular\n\nProven experience designing, building, securing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services\n\nAdvanced knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and Oracle, including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization\n\nHands-on experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing using Kafka\n\nExperience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies\n\nMaster’s degree with 10-15 years of professional IT experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 12-17 years of relevant experience\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement\n\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with English proficiency at B2 level or higher and experience working effectively within international, cross-functional teams\n\nSoftServe is an equal opportunity employer.
