We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.\nAbout Product:\nPrediction Markets:\nThe SOFTSWISS Prediction Markets Platform team develops a software solution that lets operators offer fixed-odds markets on real-world events.\nPurpose of the role:\nYou’ll design and build scalable backend solutions in Go, helping to shape the architecture of a high-load, business-critical system.\nYou’ll collaborate closely with the team, contribute to strategic technical decisions, and ensure code quality through thoughtful reviews and clean, testable implementation.\nYour deep understanding of system internals, distributed architecture, and data integrity will drive reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborating within a team using the Scrum methodology and participating in planning your own workflow\n\nEngaging in architectural, infrastructure, and other strategic decision-making processes\n\nConducting code reviews for other team members and documenting your own code\n\nRequired Experience:\n7+ years of professional software development experience\n\nAt least 4 years of recent programming experience with Go as the primary language\n\nHands-on experience with betting-related products is a must\n\nStrong understanding of Go internals: data structures, multithreading, memory management, garbage collection, etc.\n\nExperience with relational databases, including the ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries\n\nSolid knowledge of Linux and an understanding of containerization (we use Docker)\n\nAbility to write testable code and corresponding unit tests\n\nExperience working with Kafka and Kubernetes\n\nEnglish -
