You will design and implement automated tests that validate data accuracy and pipeline reliability, while partnering closely with Data Engineers and QA Engineers.\nKey responsibilities:\nWork effectively within a fully agile environment, collaborating with senior engineers while demonstrating the ability to own tasks independently\n\nReview and analyze business requirements and technical specifications in collaboration with BAs and developers to ensure testability, clarity, and early bug prevention\n\nPerform comprehensive testing of new features including manual testing and the development of automated scenarios with Gherkin syntax using existing automation framework\n\nCreate and maintain appropriate QA documentation for the team\n\nCollaborate with other products regarding functionality of implemented solutions\n\nRequired Experience:\n5+ years of experience in software quality assurance\n\nStrong understanding of to ensure optimal test coverage test design techniques\n\nSolid knowledge of any programming language (Java, C#, Python, or Typescript)\n\nStrong understanding of SQL; ability to write complex SQL queries (joins, aggregations, groupings) for deep-level data validation\n\nProfessional experience withSpark and Spark SQL (Spark jobs, DataFrames/Datasets, data querying)\n\nExperience with Delta Lake or/and with any of its implementations\n\nUnderstanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) concepts and hands-on experience with frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar\n\nStrong knowledge of Git (branching, merging, rebasing, resolving conflicts)\n\nGood understanding of containerization (running, inspecting and troubleshooting)\n\nHands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or specialized QA agents) to accelerate test case generation, bug analysis, and script writing\n\nProactive communication skills with B1+ proficiency in both English and Russian\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills and debugging skills for data discrepancies\n\nNice to have:\nBasic knowledge of Scala programming language\n\nExperience with Apache Airflow\n\nBasic experience with Apache Kafka for testing event-driven systems\n\nPractical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar), including interpreting pipeline failures\n\nAbility to write and interpret Bash scripts for task automation and environment setup\n\nFamiliarity with AI Agents, Skills, and MCP.
