You’ll join a dedicated mobile team rebuilding the client’s traveller-facing apps, part of the Subscriber Portal, as fully native iOS and Android applications to replace the existing React Native versions. Travellers and expatriates use these apps to receive location-based medical and security alerts, access country risk information, check in, and contact 24/7 assistance centres with a single tap. The backend is already in place, allowing the team to focus on building a fast, secure and accessible native experience. When someone faces a crisis abroad, the app needs to work reliably when it matters most.\nRole - how you’ll contribute\nDevelop and maintain the native Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose;\nCollaborate on requirements, technical solutions and effort estimates;\nBuild responsive, accessible and multilingual interfaces;\nOptimise app performance, stability and scalability;\nImplement secure authentication, session management and data storage;\nDevelop location-based features and location-triggered push notifications;\nResolve production issues through crash analysis, root cause investigation and hotfixes;\nIntegrate app monitoring and analytics;\nMaintain unit and UI tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines;\nFollow architecture and coding standards, participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.\n Expectations - the experience you need\n3+ years of experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose;\nExperience implementing location services and push notifications;\nExperience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management and secure credential storage;\nExperience integrating third-party libraries;\nHands-on experience writing and maintaining unit and UI tests;\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum practices;\nProficiency in Jira and Confluence;\nStrong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous learning;\nEnglish at C1 -
