It helps organisations protect their people wherever they work and travel. You’ll join a dedicated mobile team that is rewriting the client’s traveller-facing apps, part of the Subscriber Portal, from React Native to fully native iOS and Android. Travellers and expatriates use these apps to get location-based medical and security alerts, read country risk information, check in, and reach 24/7 assistance centres in one tap. The backend is already in place. As the team’s Senior QA Engineer, you’ll own test automation and quality across the native apps and the web portal. That includes making sure the new native apps match or improve on the current ones. When someone is in a crisis abroad, the app has to work the first time.\nRole - how you’ll contribute\nOwn test strategy, automation and release validation for native iOS/Android apps and the web portal;\nDevelop and maintain functional, regression and end-to-end automated tests;\nValidate authentication, session management and secure data handling;\nTest location features and push notifications on real devices;\nIntegrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines;\nInvestigate production issues, validate hotfixes and expand regression coverage;\nCollaborate on requirements, test planning and estimation;\nVerify compatibility, accessibility and multilingual support across platforms;\nValidate application data following backend changes and migrations;\nTrack defects, coverage and quality metrics, and maintain test documentation.\n Expectations - the experience you need\n5+ years of experience in test automation across native iOS and Android applications and web portals;\nProven ability to design and maintain automation frameworks, own test suites and ensure release quality;\nExperience with functional, regression, API and end-to-end testing;\nExperience testing responsive interfaces, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and localisation;\nExperience validating location services, push notifications, authentication and session management;\nHands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines;\nExperience supporting production applications, investigating defects and performing root cause analysis;\nAbility to work closely with developers and architects to improve quality and testability;\nExperience with Scrum, Jira and Confluence;\nStrong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous learning;\nExperience validating backend data corrections and migrations using queries or scripts;\nEnglish at C1 -
