The platform is built on Shopify Plus (Hydrogen) with a .NET 8 microservices backend on AWS, supporting multiple branded storefronts and integrating with a range of legacy systems including ERP, order management, inventory, pricing, and marketplace connectors (Amazon, Walmart). This is a brownfield modernisation programme with real complexity: multiple vendors, multiple stakeholder groups (business, product, tech, marketing), phased delivery across POC, MVP, and full launch, and requirements that span backend services, front-end UX, and third-party integrations.
