You'll join our small Office Management team, and no two days will look quite the same.\nWhat you’ll do\nWelcome clients, candidates and visitors, and make sure everyone who walks in feels looked after \nAnswer the phone and our shared inboxes, and get every enquiry to the right person \nKeep reception, meeting rooms and the kitchen areas tidy, stocked and ready to use \nSet up rooms and arrange catering for client meetings, team days and events \nOrder and track office and IT supplies, and handle equipment requests and couriers \nLook after post and deliveries, and host suppliers and contractors on site \nHelp new starters settle in on their first day, including office tours and ID checks \nSupport socials, awards and gifts: the small touches that make Softwire a good place to work \nKeep on top of light admin such as receipts and budget tracking \nSpot ways to do things better, including trying out new tools to speed up routine tasks\nWho we’re looking for\nWe care more about who you are than your experience in similar roles. The smooth running of our office depends on it. \nYou’re comfortable with everyday software like Microsoft 365 and common AI tooling such as ChatGPT & Claude. \nYou are curious and happy to learn new skills and tools.\nNice to have\nAn interest in tech.
