This includes the design and implementation of infrastructure from specifications, configuration and deployment of applications, connecting to back-end resources and advanced troubleshooting of moderately complex Pega applications.\nKeep abreast of patches including minor and major version releases\nRegular RAP deployments from non-production through production environments\nEvaluating merits and risks of upgrades; coordinating with appropriate staff to execute patches to deployed applications; monitoring day-to-day operational health of deployed applications\nResponsible for maintaining operational health of PEGA PRPC application\nResponsible for updating appropriate system level documentation and knowledge base documentation\nAdvise development team on performance improving solutions\nConduct DR drills on a scheduled basis\nNeed to do Root cause analysis if any platform issues/application issues\nSkills & Requirements:\nMinimum 3 years of experience as a Pega Administrator.\nCSA/CSSA certified\nDemonstrated experience in Systems Administration and Analysis\nStrong experience in the Analysis and Tuning of DB\nOperating system experience in Windows, Linux.\nStrong JVM experience\nExpert in installation of PEGA in container/cluster environments\nDemonstrated experience in Devops and CI/CD implementation\nStrong and intuitive troubleshooting skills\nDemonstrated experience in Pega PRPC Administration 8.X\nKnowledge of source control\nEvaluating merits and risk of upgrades coordinating with appropriate staff to execute patches to deployed applications\nKnowledge of Open shift/Kubernetes is a plus\nKnowledge of Log analysis (pegarules,Alert logs, system logs)\nExperience with application/platform performance monitoring tools such as PAL, PMI, AES and Windows Performance Monitor,Splunk,Dynatrace\nExperience in - PEGA Admin Windows, MQ Linux, MSSQL\nSQL execution knowledge is a plus\nWeb Application experience in WebSphere App Server.
