These accolades highlight our dedication to being a leading brand in the beauty industry and an exceptional workplace. \nWhat You’ll Do\nWe’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Packaging Coordinator to support our Technical Packaging team at Sol de Janeiro. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys keeping projects and teams organized, and has a passion for beautiful, functional packaging.\nThe ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, a master at juggling tasks, and eager to learn. You’ll play a key role in maintaining documentation, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and supporting the development and launch of new packaging. \nWhat You’ll Be Working On\nAssist in managing packaging development timelines, deliverables, and calendars from concept through launch. \nAct as a liaison between the packaging team and external suppliers, marketing, operations, and other internal departments. \nKeep up with innovation trends and create competitive packaging presentations\nAssist in creating fill and assembly specifications and approving standards and range boards.\nHelp maintain the library of packaging specifications, quality standards, and vendor documentation. \nEnter and maintain data in internal project management systems with accuracy. \nAssist with tertiary and pallet pattern development.\nAssist in coordinating packaging tests for performance and compliance. \nCollect, organize, and document feedback and results from validation testing. \nTrack and manage inventory of packaging components and development samples. \nPartner with marketing and creative teams to create packaging comps.\nOrganize samples required for retailer meetings, photography, and other cross-functional needs. \nSupport organization and upkeep of packaging storage and sample areas.\nMust Haves\nMinimum Qualifications \n1-3 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, packaging, operations, or a related field. \nStrong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nA collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and curiosity for how things are made. \nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience working in a packaging, manufacturing, or product development environment. \nFamiliarity with packaging tools or systems is a plus but not required. \nKnowledge of packaging materials or regulatory standards is a bonus. \nPhysical Requirements \nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. \nOccasional domestic travel may be required\nSalary Range\n$70,000—$75,000 USD\nWhy Sol de Janeiro?\nCompetitive salary and bonus program for full-time team members\nFlexible hybrid work environment with opportunities for collaboration and growth\nInclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and celebrates individuality\nThe chance to be part of a fast-growing, award-winning global beauty brand\n The information contained herein is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee, as these may change or new ones may be assigned at any time. \nSol de Janeiro is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
