Job Overview

We're looking for a creative and organized Event Manager to plan, produce, and deliver standout experiences for our audience of finance professionals. This role goes beyond the standard conference-and-cocktails format - we want someone who can design unconventional, memorable physical events alongside high-quality webinars and digital formats that engage a traditionally conservative industry in fresh ways.

Your Tasks

You'll own the full event lifecycle, from concept to execution to post-event analysis, working closely with marketing, sales, and senior stakeholders to ensure every format - in-person or digital - reflects our brand and delivers real value to a financial-sector audience.

Physical Events

• Conceive and produce event formats from classic networking sessions to innovative, interactive experiences that break from typical finance-industry conference norms
• Manage end-to-end logistics: venue sourcing, budgeting, vendor negotiation, catering, AV/production, travel, and on-site execution
• Oversee end-to-end execution, from initial concept through on-site delivery and post-event follow-up.
• While based in Frankfurt, coordinate and support events across other Solactive locations and assist with international client initiatives.
• Bring an innovative, unconventional approach to events, crafting experiences that differentiate Solactive and make a lasting impact.

Webinars & Digital Formats

• Plan and produce webinars, virtual panels, livestreams, and hybrid events
• Develop engaging digital formats beyond standard webinars (e.g., interactive Q&A sessions, virtual roundtables, podcast-style discussions, on-demand content series)
• Coordinate speakers, run-of-show, tech rehearsals, and moderation for live digital sessions
• Optimize formats for audience engagement, retention, and lead generation

Internal Events & Company Culture:

• Plan and support internal company-wide initiatives like company anniversaries, Christmas parties, family events, and others.
• Contribute to fostering a strong company culture through engaging event formats.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in event management with exposure to financial services, professional services, or B2B corporate environments
• Proven track record of producing both physical and digital/hybrid events
• Experience with webinar/virtual event platforms
• Strong project management skills - able to juggle multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a talent for building strong client relationships.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with a flair for unconventional and memorable event experiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German
• A genuine interest in making finance-industry events feel less "finance-industry" - bold, human, and memorable
