This role supports cash management for individual aircraft owner bank accounts, monthly owner and management reporting packages, accounts payable accuracy, and clear communication with crews, vendors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, comfortable working in modern accounting systems, and able to identify issues, follow up promptly, and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives. This position reports to a Client Accounting Director.\nEssential Responsibilities/Duties\nReview vendor invoices and aircraft crew expenses for approvals, accuracy, supporting documentation, and policy compliance\nAccurately code vendor invoices to the appropriate accounts, cost centers, and expenditure types\nCommunicate with crews, vendors, AP Specialists, and internal stakeholders to resolve AP inquiries in a timely and professional manner\nPartner with AP Specialists and Client Accounting team members to meet payment, reporting, and month-end deadlines\nReview client bank balances daily and escalate funding concerns or unusual activity as appropriate\nEnter, upload, and maintain invoices and supporting documentation in Oracle Fusion\nIdentify, research, and clarify unusual, duplicate, or questionable invoice items\nGenerate monthly statements and reporting packages for aircraft owners and management\nInitiate appropriate invoice approval workflows and ensure required documentation is attached\nMonitor AP Aging for assigned aircraft and follow up on outstanding items\nPrepare and process vendor payments via ACH and check in accordance with established procedures\nReconcile assigned vendor statements; research and resolve discrepancies\nUpload reports and data to the Client Finance Console and other department systems\nSupport process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled efficiency initiatives where appropriate and in accordance with company policies\nPerform other duties as assigned by department leadership\nQualifications\nAssociate degree or above in Accounting preferred\nMinimum of four years of accounting, accounts payable, or related financial operations experience\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and resolve discrepancies\nComfortable adapting to new technology, systems, automation, and company growth\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented approach\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through with minimal supervision\nProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; 10-key by touch preferred\nOracle Fusion experience is a plus\nStrong work ethic, reliability, discretion, and a positive professional attitude\nExperience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) or interest in using AI responsibly to improve accuracy and efficiency is a bonus\nAdditional Information\nSolairus Aviation embraces diversity and equal opportunity.
