The role ensures compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and organizational requirements. Depending on experience, certifications, and licensing, the level of this position may vary.\nThis position includes hands-on electrical work, facilities system support, contractor coordination, technical troubleshooting, and accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs.\nWhat you will do:\nInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across various settings (commercial, industrial, residential, and facility-based).\nEnsure compliance with electrical codes, company standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nAssist in diagnosing electrical issues, implementing solutions, and supporting system upgrades.\nMaintain a safe working environment by identifying hazards and following all required safety protocols.\nMajor Duties & Responsibilitie s\nElectrical Installation, Maintenance, and Repair\nInstall electrical wiring, fixtures, conduit, equipment, and systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes.\nAssemble, test, maintain, and repair electrical components and equipment.\nDiagnose malfunctioning electrical systems and perform corrective repairs.\nPerform system upgrades to meet current safety and efficiency standards.\nRead, interpret, and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.\nPlan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job requirements.\nSafely operate tools, instruments, ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and work on roofs and elevated surfaces.\nTroubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.\nProgram and diagnose Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).\nSafety Compliance\nConduct point-of-work risk assessments and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash safety procedures.\nInspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and required repairs.\nMaintain compliance with building, electrical, and safety codes at all times.\nFacilities & Contractor Coordination\nMonitor and evaluate contractor performance to ensure work meets specifications.\nCoordinate with vendors, tradespeople, contractors, and project managers to meet project deadlines and budgets.\nMaintain documentation, records, and work orders in the CMMS system.\nLeadership & Support\nAssist and support other team members during installation and repair tasks.\nProvide training or direction to workers performing electrical work.\n\nWhat you will have:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nJourneyman Electrician certification (preferred).\nMinimum 1+ years of experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems.\nStrong working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.\nAbility to work effectively with team members, and contractors.\nAbility to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.\nDemonstrated attention to safety and strong time-management skills.\nSkilled in the safe and efficient use of electrical tools and equipment.\nMust maintain all applicable electrical licenses.\nPreferred Qualifications\n2+ years of experience in construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field.\nAssociate degree or completion of technical training in electrical systems.\nKnowledgeable in PLC troubleshooting and VFD programming (strongly preferred).\nExperience working with CMMS systems.Job Summary Provided\nWhat will set you apart:\nPrior/current exposure to Solar Turbines manufacturing environment\nExperience with Solar Turbines process and SOP's\nThis Job Description is intended as a general guide to the job duties for this position and is intended for the purpose of establishing the specific salary grade.
