Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\nSet up and operate machines and tools to perform any operation within machine capacity with special fixtures or holding devices if required.\nBenefits Information:\nThis is a supplemental position located at the Solar manufacturing facility located in Channelview, TX\nNo relocation package is available\nHealth, dental, vision, & basic life insurance offered on day 1 of employment\nPotential base salary increases from annual performance reviews\nJob Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nComply with all of TurboFab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines.\nMust keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures.\nMust maintain a safe working environment.\nMust meet production requirements.\nMachine components require tolerance and meet quality standards.\nMust apply continuous improvement techniques.\nEnsure equipment is functioning properly.\nKeep and maintain records and documents as required.\nTrain less experienced machinists as required.\nRequired Qualifications:\nThis position is for a fully competent and qualified Machine Operators \nMust have at least 1 year of experience as a machine operator and requires minimal supervision to perform the job.\nKnowledge of setting up and running the production machining equipment.\nCapable of reading and interpreting drawings.\nUnderstanding and skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment and gauges to inspect machined parts.\nMust have skills, knowledge in operating manual and CNC machining equipment.\nAble to work 1st shift as assigned\nMust exhibit the skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner.\nGood communication skills both verbal and written.\nTop Candidates:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\n3 or more years of experience as a machine operator\nBasic computer skills preferred\nSkills of setting up and running the production machining equipment.\nAbility to write, change and update programs.\nSkills and knowledge in operating Horizontal Boring Machine as well as Kuraki CNC Machines.\nCompetency to read/write G code as well as FeatureCAM.\nSummary Pay Range:\n$25.48 - $38.22\nCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.\nPlease note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.\nWhat You Will Get:\nCompetitive salary and annual bonus program\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\nPaid time off plan (Vacation, Holiday, Sick, Etc.)\nHealth savings account (HSA)\nFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)\nLife Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Programs\nVoluntary Benefits (Ex.
