Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.\n\nProject Structural Welder B \nAs a Structural Welder, you will set up, operate and adjust manual and/or automatic machines to perform welding operations in all positions.\nAdditional Information:\nUrgently hiring \nMultiple openings \nThis is a supplemental position located at the Solar Turbines manufacturing facility located in Channelview, TX \nNo relocation package is available \nJob Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nPerform Manual finish welding operations on carbon and stainless steel in all positions \nFollow documented procedures and standard work to perform safe and defect free operations \nPerform carbon arc cutting and gouging \nSanding may be required to prepare and dress welds \nUse of forklifts, pallet jacks, jib and overhead cranes to move and position work pieces \nRequired Qualifications:\nMust be able to successfully pass the structural welder qualification test and weld with FCAW process \nBe available to work 2ndshift \nMinimum of 6 months of experience in a production environment \nAbility to work overtime to support production demands, including weekends \nAbility to work well individually or in a team environment \nAbility to perform simple computer operations \nDesired Qualifications:\nCombination Structural Welder and Fitter \nOne (1) to three (3) years of FCAW welding experience with structural steel components \nOne year of GMAW welding experience \nAt least one (1) year of experience Air Carbon Arc Gouging \nTop Candidates:\nCombination Structural Welder and Fitter \nGood Communication Skills and strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork \nExperience with Automated or Mechanized welding systems such as: Robotic Welding Cells, Orbital Welding and/or Track Welders \n6GR Qualification \nLeadership Experience \nAll eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to any position:\nBackground Screening \nPhysical and drug/alcohol screening \nSummary Pay Range:\n$22.74 - $34.11Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-relatedknowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
