Join us and be part of a company that values creativity, agility, and impactful work.\nThe Embedded control team develop SW products that create the basic building blocks of the SolarEdge system and deal with various fields - power conversion algorithmic, communication algorithmic, optimizations, RT problems on different platforms - DSPs, Company’s ASIC and digital controlled power converters for photo-voltaic power systems. Our technological challenges focus on the following fields: power electronics, digital close loop control and digital signal processing algorithms implemented on company’s microprocessors.\nIn this position, you will take part in developing advanced control algorithms and software for SolarEdge’s state-of-the-art products.\nWhat you will be doing:\nLearning the different aspects of our products by developing features in various areas and disciplines - power electronics, control theory, DSP and communication over different platform\nDesign, develop, optimizing, test and maintain complex and exciting embedded SW for power electronics and control systems in a multi processors environment\nDeveloping on various micro-controllers and dealing with various RT constraints\nOwnership of a projectproduct from end to end- from concept and simulation, through development and integration and field deployment\nBuilding complex simulations integrating SW and HW and working hand by hand with HW team\nRequirements\nB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a university - MUST\n 1-2 years of experience in embedded systems and power control firmware programming from the industry - MUST\nExperience in programming in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems\nExperience with controlpower electronics, understanding of DC/DC, AC/DC, and inverter power conversion topologies\nExperience with control algorithms (PID, model predictive control, or adaptive control)\nUnderstanding of ADCs, PWM generation, and communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.)\nBasic understanding of power electronics hardware (MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, inductors, etc.)\nKnowledge of debugging tools, compilers, and firmware development workflows\nSolarEdge recognizes its talented and diverse workforce as a key competitive advantage.
