This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency for solar production and deployment.\nLocation: Austin, TX\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nReport to SolarEdge Quality Manager in NAM and will be part of SolarEdge team located at Austin TX, USA. \nSupport the Quality Manager to implement improved monitoring methods and lesson learn activities on the production line.\nCooperate with Local EMS teams to monitor and improve the Quality and the performance of SolarEdge Products manufactured in Flex, TX\nResponsible to investigate the root cause of workmanship-related failures and lead EMS teams for CAPA/SCAR implementation.\nLead implementations of improvement plans and actions that shall result in improved production FPYs and Fielded Reliability.\nCooperate with SolarEdge Head Quarters Quality and Reliability members and support the global Quality and Reliability targets and goals.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering\nAdditional education in Quality as a minimum, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is an advantage.\nAt least 3 years experience in Quality of multidisciplinary electronics mass production at OEM Contract Manufacturers.\nProven experience in different production methodologies, technologies, and processes of High-end Electronics, Electro-Mechanics, and Mechanical Products.\nThe Quality Engineer shall have knowledge of reading Electrical and Mechanical drawings and good technical skills for the assembly of modules/systems.\nGood Personal skills.\nGood knowledge in computing Microsoft Office-must, others-advantage.\nAbility to identify, log, and/or troubleshoot issues that arise during production.\nCertification in IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC-7011/7021, J-STD-002/003 preferred.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.\nGood verbal and writing skills.\nFAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE\nSolarEdge proudly seeks to build a richly diverse workforce by hiring people with a diversity of thoughts, identities, perspectives, and experiences that help advance the difference we make for consumers, and by ensuring our people experience equity and inclusion in their work lives.
