This is a hands-on role with real ownership - you will architect solutions, automate operations, and work closely with R&D teams to deliver reliable infrastructure that powers SolarEdge products worldwide. We offer a hybrid model of work -two days at the office.\nAWS Cloud Infrastructure\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure across multi-account environments.\nOwn core AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, and CloudWatch\n Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform - reusable modules, remote state, workspaces, and policy-as-code.\nArchitect secure, well-governed AWS environments using Organizations, SCPs, and Control Tower patterns.\nEnsure infrastructure security through IAM least-privilege policies, VPC design, encryption, and compliance controls.\nFinOps & Cloud Cost Management\nOwn the FinOps practice: implement cost tagging strategies, enforce resource governance, and deliver regular cost visibility reports.\nIdentify and execute on rightsizing, Reserved Instance, and Savings Plan optimization opportunities.\nBuild budget alerting, cost anomaly detection, and automated guardrails to prevent cloud spend overruns.\nWork with engineering teams to embed cost-awareness into architecture and development decisions.\nKubernetes & Containerization\nProvision, operate, and maintain EKS clusters for production and non-production workloads.\nProvision, operate, and maintain On-Prem Rancher cluster and non-production workloads\nManage Helm chart deployments, configure autoscaling (HPA/VPA/Karpenter), and enforce RBAC and network policies.\nSupport containerization efforts and ensure Docker best practices across development and production environments.\nCI/CD & Automation\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, integrating automated testing, SAST/SCA scanning, and deployment gates.\nAutomate operational tasks - provisioning, patching, scaling, backups, and incident remediation - using Python and Bash.\nObservability & Reliability\nBuild and maintain the observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and alerting pipelines.\nDefine and monitor SLOs/SLIs, own incident response runbooks, and contribute to post-mortem culture.\nProactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability risks, and security gaps.\nRequirements\nMust-Have\n3-5 years of hands-on DevOps or cloud engineering experience in production AWS environments.\nStrong AWS expertise: EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Cost Explorer - with the ability to design end-to-end solutions.\nProven Terraform skills: writing modules, managing state, and enforcing infrastructure standards.\nDemonstrated FinOps experience: cost tagging, rightsizing, and budget governance.\nHands-on Kubernetes experience: EKS, On-prem rancher rke2, Helm, RBAC, autoscaling, Vault and network policies.\n CI/CD pipeline experience with GitLab or equivalent; familiarity with SAST/SCA tooling.\nScripting proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation and operational tooling.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancing, VPC peering, TLS.\nNice to Have\nExperience with ArgoCD, GitOps workflows, or progressive delivery strategies.\nFamiliarity with Pulumi or AWS CDK as IaC alternatives.\nExposure to DevSecOps practices: secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), container image scanning, and compliance-as-code.\nAWS certifications: Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or FinOps Practitioner (FinOps Foundation).\nExperience with observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.\nInterest in GenAI-powered automation and developer tooling.\nSolarEdge recognizes its talented and diverse workforce as a key competitive advantage.
