Solaris is headquartered in Berlin and employs 300 people in Europe.\nYour Role\nConduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats. \nDevelop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards specific to fintech and digital financial services. \nProvide guidance and training to other engineers and staff on security best practices and industry trends. \nCollaborate with stakeholders to incorporate security considerations in the development and deployment of new financial services and systems. \nLead incident investigations related to digital financial services and financial data breaches and provide reports to management. \nResearch and stay current on industry security trends and technologies specific to fintech and digital financial services. \nEnsure compliance with relevant financial data protection regulations and standards. \nProvide oversight and guidance to other security team members to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities related to the protection of financial data in digital systems \nContribute to incident response and disaster recovery planning and execution. \nOwners of this function make sure, that they follow the defined Policies & Procedures for the institution (which includes explicit processes defined for Tech, which are properly defined in the respective confluence spaces). \nTake ownership of the tech responsibilities as described in our Change Management Policies.\nWe'd love to see \nDepending on your level of experience, your responsibilities and scope of role will range. Let’s figure together out how you can contribute to our team.\nA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent professional experience.\nYou have spent 2+ years in Cybersecurity or Software Engineering roles in a high-growth environment. \nHas proven experience within our core tech stack.\nUnderstands agile workflows and lean principles.\nBusiness proficient written and spoken English. German language skills is a plus.\nProactive team player who actively drives the growth of those around you.
