In this role, you'll work with other senior members of Solaris to break down complex requirements and drive the design, implementation, delivery, and operation of complex, high-scale financial services solving critical business and technical challenges.\nAs a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:\nDesign and deliver scalable and secure backend systems, from architecture to production.\nDrive engineering excellence through a focus on code quality, system reliability, observability, and performance.\nCollaborate with product and engineering peers to align technical decisions with business outcomes.\nTake end-to-end ownership of systems, embracing the \"You build it, you run it\" philosophy from design to deployment and operations.\nContribute to and guide architectural decisions and the long-term technical strategy within your team.\nWe'd love to see \nDepending on your level of experience, your responsibilities and scope of role will range. Let’s figure together out how you can contribute to our team.\nProven experience building scalable products with Java or Golang.\nStrong experience building and operating cloud-native applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure.\nStrong experience building and operating distributed systems, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and maintainability.\nA solid understanding of security best practices for backend and cloud-based services.\nDemonstrated ownership of complex systems, with a mindset for operational excellence.\nThe ability to drive cross-functional initiatives while balancing technical and product priorities.\nA thoughtful communicator and problem-solver, capable of aligning engineering efforts with business goals.\nComfortable working with AI tools, thinking critically about AI outputs, and contributing to a culture of responsible AI use.
