Staff AI Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Staff AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered products and intelligent systems across the organization. This role will be responsible for driving AI strategy, building scalable AI platforms, and leveraging state-of-the-art LLMs, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning technologies to solve complex business problems. As a Staff AI Engineer, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to identify high-impact use cases and deliver production-grade AI solutions that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the architecture, design, and development of AI-powered products and platforms.
• Build and deploy production-ready AI applications leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG pipelines, and Machine Learning models.
• Design and implement AI agents capable of autonomous reasoning, task execution, workflow orchestration, and decision-making.
• Develop scalable AI infrastructure, model-serving systems, and AI platform capabilities.
• Build retrieval systems, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and contextual intelligence layers to improve AI performance.
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to identify AI opportunities and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Establish best practices for AI development, evaluation, observability, governance, and model monitoring.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and strategic AI initiatives across teams.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to building a strong AI engineering culture.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive innovation through experimentation and rapid prototyping.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern AI frameworks.
• Experience working with vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and model orchestration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive end-to-end ownership of AI initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or similar agent frameworks.
• Experience fine-tuning models and working with open-source LLMs.
• Exposure to multimodal AI systems involving text, image, voice, and video.
• Experience building AI copilots, virtual assistants, recommendation systems, or intelligent automation platforms.
• Previous experience in a high-growth product company or startup environment.
