Join SolarWinds and grow with us!\nThe Collections Specialist, Associate is responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned accounts and for daily collections activities. This includes working with internal and external customers to proactively identify and resolve problems that might delay payment of accounts to expedite cash collections.\nEmployee has some knowledge of routines and procedures in order to carry out different tasks which might involve numerous steps. Assignments provided include general expectations, deadlines and priorities.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for managing a portfolio of assigned accounts receivables accounts\nTasked with identifying and resolving problems that might delay payment of accounts receivable cash collection and/or affect customer satisfaction\nTasked with meeting and/or exceeding assigned collection targets\nResearch, identify and resolve unapplied payments\nReview contracts, orders and invoices to reconcile and resolve customer disputes\nResponsible for timely follow-up and regular updates to accounts receivable collection notes\nSome reports as determined by management\nQualifications\n1-2 years of demonstrated experience managing a collections or an accounts receivable portfolio\nStrong organizational skills to effectively assist with adherence to deadlines, attention to detail and strong problem solving and decision-making\nStrong Written and verbal communication skills required\nA strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy\nExcellent customer service skills required, including the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations\nFamiliar with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook\nFlexibility in work schedule when required\nMust be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership within organization.\nExposure to NetSuite, SalesForce, Great Plains, etc. preferred\nSolarWinds is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
