Join SolarWinds and grow with us!\nSummary: We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This role involves managing employee payroll changes, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. The Payroll Specialist will also collaborate with various departments to provide payroll support and drive process improvements.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time.\nReview payroll inputs and reports and assist with resolving discrepancies.\nProcess employee payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments.\nSupport time and attendance activities, including reviewing timecard errors and required corrections.\nMaintain accurate payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies.\nManage payroll inbox requests and respond to employee payroll inquiries.\nAssist with payroll tax and compliance-related activities.\nSupport year-end payroll activities, including employee and employer tax documents.\nAssist with payroll reconciliations and other regular payroll activities.\nPrepare standard and ad hoc payroll reports using ADP Workforce Now.\nSupport payroll-related audits, including 401(k) and Workers’ Compensation audits.\nAssist with payroll reconciliations and research payroll discrepancies.\nSupport payroll process improvements, documentation, and standardization.\nParticipate in payroll projects and other assigned activities.\nWork closely with Finance and other internal teams to ensure accurate payroll information.\nRespond to employee payroll questions in a timely and professional manner.\nCoordinate with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders as required.\nEscalate complex payroll issues to the appropriate Payroll Lead or Manager.\nRequired skills:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.\n4-6 years of payroll experience, preferably supporting multi-state US payroll.\nWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.\nExperience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet payroll deadlines.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential payroll information appropriately.\nGlobal payroll exposure is a plus.\nSolarWinds is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
