To support these objectives, we are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Operations Associate Director to partner with senior leadership and drive operational excellence across the business. This role combines elements of Commercial & Business Operations, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership while ensuring strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans and successfully executed.\nThe successful candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives, drive business performance through data-driven insights, remove operational barriers, and foster alignment across multiple functions and stakeholders. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing organisational effectiveness, improving productivity, and supporting sustainable business growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Planning & Performance Management\nPartner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic and operational plans.\nSupport annual operating plans, business reviews, and performance management processes.\nEstablish, monitor, and report on key business metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards.\nAnalyse business performance and identify opportunities for growth, productivity improvement, cost optimisation, and operational effectiveness.\nPrepare executive-level presentations, reports, and business updates.\nOperational Excellence\nLead initiatives focused on process improvement and organisational effectiveness.\nIdentify operational inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions.\nStandardise business processes, governance frameworks, and best practices.\nDrive accountability and ensure execution against key business priorities.\nStrategic Project Leadership\nLead high-impact cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.\nManage timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.\nFacilitate decision-making and issue resolution across diverse teams.\nEnsure initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes and strategic value.\nData Analytics & Business Insights\nAnalyse complex business data and provide actionable recommendations.\nDevelop dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making.\nMonitor operational performance, strategic initiatives, and business trends.\nTranslate data into meaningful insights for senior leadership.\nStakeholder & Change Management\nBuild strong relationships with leaders and teams across the organisation.\nInfluence stakeholders and drive alignment around key priorities.\nSupport organisational change initiatives and promote adoption of new processes.\nAct as a connector across functions to ensure collaboration and execution.\nLeadership Support & Business Execution\nServe as a trusted operational partner to senior leadership.\nTake ownership of critical business issues and drive timely resolution.\nTrack actions, commitments, and follow-up activities to ensure accountability.\nRemove barriers, accelerate decision-making, and enable business effectiveness.\nSupport strategic projects and executive initiatives as required.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nSignificant experience in Commercial Operations, Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Project Management, or a related discipline.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.\nProven experience leading cross-functional projects and driving organisational improvements.\nExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.\nAdvanced presentation, communication, and executive reporting capabilities.\nDemonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting commercial, sales, or field-based organisations.\nBackground in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, chemicals, water treatment, or related sectors.\nExperience with business intelligence tools, dashboards, and performance reporting.\nProject Management certification or formal continuous improvement training is advantageous.\nAdditional European or Asian language capabilities are welcomed and will support effective collaboration across our international business operations.\nWhy Join Solenis -
