The incumbent will lead maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure maximum equipment availability, regulatory compliance, plant reliability, and continuous improvement of maintenance practices.\nThe role is critical in supporting uninterrupted production through proactive maintenance planning, breakdown management, asset care, and execution of capital improvement projects.\nResponsibilities:\nSupervise and coordinate all mechanical maintenance activities across the production facility.\nLead and supervise maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.\nEnsure preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs are effectively executed.\nManage plant breakdowns and lead troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime.\nEnsure equipment reliability and availability meet production requirements.\nPrioritize maintenance work based on risk, operational impact, and safety considerations.\nMonitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.\nPerform root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions\nLiaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service providers\nManage the maintenance budget effectively to ensure plant equipment, buildings, and infrastructure are maintained safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.\nPrioritize expenditure based on asset criticality, operational requirements, and plant reliability.\nMonitor costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or performance.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain SOPs, maintenance procedures, inspection check sheets, and work instructions\nEnsure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements\nSelf-Management:\nAssertive, optimistic, resilient, and adaptable to change.\nAble to engage and motivate others through a collaborative leadership style.\nSelf-confident, self-motivated, and results-driven.\nDemonstrates accountability and ownership of responsibilities.\nSkills and Attributes:\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings.\nWorking knowledge of CAD software.\nStrong leadership and relationship management skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nResults and target-oriented.\nQuality-conscious with strong attention to detail.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.\nGood presentation and communication skills.\nCommitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nundefined\nMINIMUM CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS\nundefined\nTrade Tested Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Millwright, or Mechanical Artisan.\nMinimum 5 years' post-trade experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.\nSupervisory management qualification and/or experience.\nValid driver's licence and own transport.\nStrong computer literacy, including MS Office and CAD software.\nProject management experience will be advantageous.\nIndustrial plant maintenance experience is essential.\nExperience in Calcium Hypochlorite or chemical manufacturing will be highly advantageous.\nStandby duties and overtime as per IWC policies\nWorking knowledge of SAP maintenance modules will be advantageous.\nNote:\nThe role involves work in a chemical manufacturing environment with potential exposure to hazardous chemical agents and airborne particulates.
