Solenis is a 2025 Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree.\nFor additional information about Solenis, please visitwww.solenis.com or follow us on social media.\nSupports production planning, demand management, inventory control, scheduling, material availability, capacity planning, and coordination between manufacturing and supply chain teams.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nA Production Planner supports the operational workflow of the plant by converting the monthly production plan into daily and weekly scheduled based on incoming sales orders vs. monthly forecast. This role works collaboratively across the organization while prioritizing production and inbound components. Located at our Florence, Kentucky site, this role reports to the Planning Manager and works with other Production Planners and Buyers.\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES\nA Production Planner is responsible for but not limited to the following:\nCollaborates with corporate Planners to publish weekly and daily fill schedule with priority list for Florence Plant based on incoming sales and replenishment orders\nPartners with product marketing management, product support and master data teams to ensure current Florence Bills of Materials for finished goods\nPrioritizes inbound packaging components with Plant Buyer(s) based on capacity constraints at suppliers and manufacturing locations\nMaintains sufficient supply of material for blending needs\nWorks closely with Plant Buyer(s) ensure raw materials are available on a timely basis and inventories are controlled appropriately to avoid SMOG\nCollaborates with other departments including Customer Service and Logistics to ensure customer needs are met, including preparation of sample orders (packaging materials)\nCompletes SAP downloads including Reconciles/corrects discrepancies vs. daily production,\nReports accurate reject/rework properly\nReports daily consumptions\nPrepares & prioritizes daily production schedule for blending and filling utilizing monthly schedule & new order information\n\nParticipates in periodic raw and finished goods material inventories\nMaintains production-related records and ensures the confidentiality of all data\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS\nHigh School diploma\nAt least 1 year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment\nProficient in Microsoft Office and SAP\nHighly PreferredAssociate’s degree in Supply Chain or business related degree\nProficiency with Tableau \n\nESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS\nA Production Planner is required to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation:\nFollow all safety requirements including wearing the appropriate PPE (contact lenses prohibited on the production floor)\nSits in front of a computer in an office setting for prolonged periods of time\nMoves around production floor as needed \nLifts up to 25 pounds \nStrong quantitative ability and comfort with data driven decision processes\nPossesses excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills\nDemonstrates excellent organizational, prioritization & planning skills with close attention to detail\nAccommodates shifting priorities in a fast paced environment as well as excellent problem-solving skills focusing on continuous improvement\nWork on different times/ shifts based on business needs\nhas context menu\nhas context menu\nWe understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
