You will ensure your team delivers high-quality problem management outcomes, while embedding consistent standards and ways of working across the organization.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTeam Leadership & Performance Management\nLead, manage, and develop a team of problem management analysts\nSet clear expectations, goals, and performance standards for the team\nMonitor individual and team performance, addressing gaps quickly and directly\nProvide regular coaching, feedback, and support to improve capability and delivery\nEnsure the team operates with a strong sense of ownership and accountability\nProblem Management Execution\nEnsure the team consistently identifies, logs, and prioritizes problems across incidents\nEnforce high-quality root cause analysis (RCA) standards across all work\nMaintain oversight of problem lifecycle to ensure timely progress and closure\nAccountability & Delivery Discipline\nHold engineering and product teams accountable for root cause identification and fix delivery\nTrack corrective actions and intervene where progress stalls\nEscalate risks and blockers clearly and early\nData, Reporting & Insight\nOversee analysis of incident trends to identify systemic issues\nEnsure accurate, consistent reporting on problem management performance\nUse data to drive priorities and focus team effort where it matters most\nProcess Ownership & Maturity\nEstablish and enforce problem management standards, processes, and governance\nEnsure alignment with incident management and change processes\nDrive consistency in how problem management is executed across teams\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nAct as the key interface between problem management, NOC, engineering, and product teams\nChallenge constructively to drive better outcomes\nEnsure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders\nWhat You’ll Bring\nExperience\n5+ years in IT operations, incident, or problem management roles\nPrevious experience managing or supervising a team\nProven track record of improving delivery performance and operational discipline\nTechnical & Operational Skills\nStrong understanding of incident and problem management processes\nExperience driving RCA quality and corrective action tracking\nAbility to interpret operational data and turn it into actionable insights\nLeadership & Behaviour\nStrong people leader-sets expectations, holds people accountable, and drives performance\nDirect, clear communicator who is comfortable giving candid feedback\nHighly organized and structured in approach to work\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment\nFocused on outcomes, not just activity\nIt is impossible to list every requirement for, or responsibility of, any position.
