Many businesses, especially from Ukraine and CEE, can't open EU business accounts at all, or wait months to do so. Our product removes that blocker: companies get a business account, can send SEPA and SWIFT payments, receive payouts to cards, exchange currencies, and manage everything through one portal.\nYour immediate team: a Senior Backend Engineer with 10+ years in fintech and AI, a Senior Backend Engineer with 8+ years including crypto, a Middle Frontend Engineer with 6+ years, and a Junior AQA Engineer. We're growing it now to launch corporate cards - a new product that lets business clients issue and manage cards directly through the platform.\nExplore our technology stackhere.\nWhat you’ll own\n- Design and build backend services for corporate card issuance and management, including roles and user permissions\n- Integrate with core banking providers, AML systems, and SWIFT to enable reliable, compliant payment flows (SEPA, SWIFT, payout to cards)\n- Analyze third-party documentation and translate it into concrete integration and architecture plans\n- Participate in product decisions across the full development lifecycle - from RFC and PRD to production\n- Improve the performance, scalability, and observability of the system using tools like Kafka, tRPC/Connect RPC, Loki, and VictoriaMetrics\n- Hold quality to a high standard: write unit and functional tests, follow security best practices, and contribute to automated CI/CD pipelines\n- Collaborate daily with design, finance, and platform teams to ship a seamless end-to-end user experience\nYou’re a great fit if you have\n\n - 2+ years of backend development experience (Node.js/TypeScript preferred, but other backend programming languages are considered as well)\n- Strong command of SQL - PostgreSQL or MySQL\n- Experience writing unit and functional tests (Jest, Cypress, Vitest, or similar)\n- Experience building or integrating complex systems\n- Proactive by default: you spot problems early, propose fixes, and follow through\n- Comfortable owning a feature from first line to production - no hand-holding needed\n- Clear communicator: you can explain technical decisions and defend your choices\n- Business-minded: you build to create value, not just to ship code\nNice to have\n\n- Experience with event-driven systems\n- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS\n- Familiarity with fintech, crypto, or payment system integrations\n- Hands-on with Docker, AWS, GitLab CI/CD or GitHub Actions, Terraform\n- Knowledge of API security and vulnerability patterns\nWhy Solidgate?\n- Impactful work: You're building financial infrastructure that solves a real, felt problem - international companies that can't access EU banking.
