We’re proud to be the first payment orchestrator from Europe to join - and to share our expertise within a network of outstanding global companies.\nAbout the Team and Role\nThis is a foundational hire on ML/AI direction at Solidgate - you'll be one of the first engineers building the function from the ground up, working closely with the ML team to shape it.\nYou'll help stand up the ML/AI direction from scratch - on top of 20M+ orders and 100M+ transactions a month. The next big step is a realtime ML payment routing. That's the space you'll be building in.\nExplore our technology stackhere.\nWhat you’ll own\n\n - Design and build core ML models and pipelines as part of a true greenfield direction, not a maintenance handover\n- A real-time ML decisioning system with direct revenue impact\n- Hands-on experimentation - from idea, through A/B testing, to production\n- Integrations of cutting-edge AI technologies to drive innovation\n- Close partnership with Product, Engineering, and the Data Platform team (who will help with data and MLOps) to solve hard modelling problems and build orchestrated training and analytics pipelines\n- Clear communication of technical results to both engineers and cross-functional stakeholders\nYou’re a great fit if you have\n\n - 4-5+ years in ML or Data Science, with hands-on production experience in classical predictive models (e.g. credit scoring, fraud, risk, recommendations, pricing)\n- Track record of shipping ML models end-to-end, from idea to production, in a real product environment and being able to show their business impact in numbers (conversion, approval rate, losses, revenue)\n- Strong data science fundamentals\n- Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation design\n- Feature engineering on high-cardinality transactional data\n- A driver mindset: you can walk into a greenfield space, figure out what to build, propose it, and own it through delivery\n- Great communication skills and comfort working with a wide range of stakeholders\nNice to have\n\n - Experience in fintech, payments, fraud, or risk\n- Real-time / low-latency ML serving\n- A master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline\nWhy Solidgate?\nFounding direction.
