This evergreen posting supports multiple internship opportunities across software development, back-end engineering, AI, and data analysis for Solidigm's data center SSD products.\nAs an intern, you will work on real engineering challenges supporting software tools, applications, and data-driven workflows that improve engineering productivity and product development.\nThis internship is ideal for students who enjoy solving complex technical problems, writing clean and efficient code, and applying software and data analysis skills to real-world engineering systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nInterns may be assigned one or more of the following responsibilities based on project needs, team priorities, and individual strengths:\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software tools, applications, or back-end systems that support engineering workflows and product development.\nApply Python and other programming languages to build scripts, services, or automation that improve engineering efficiency.\nSupport AI and data analysis efforts, including analyzing engineering data, logs, or performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.\nTroubleshoot and debug software issues; reproduce problems and assist with root-cause analysis.\nWork in Linux-based development environments to build, test, and deploy software.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, data science, and product engineering.\nCreate clear documentation for tools, code, workflows, and project deliverables.\n Minimum Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nReturning to school following the internship.\nExperience with Python or another programming language.\nFamiliarity with Linux-based development environments.\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.\nStrong communication skills and eagerness to learn.\nThis role is not eligible for candidates requiring VISA sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with back-end development, APIs, or service-oriented architecture.\nExposure to AI/ML concepts, model development, or applied machine learning workflows.\nExperience with data analysis, scripting, or automation.\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git.\nStrong interest in data center storage, software engineering, or AI-enabled systems.\n What You’ll Gain\nAs a Solidigm intern, you will have the opportunity to:\nWork on meaningful projects tied to real firmware and validation engineering needs.\nGain hands-on experience with firmware development, debugging, and validation of data center SSD products.\nCollaborate with experienced engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams.\nDevelop practical skills in debugging, automation, and technical communication.\nPresent your work, receive feedback, and contribute to solutions that may influence future products.\nGrow your professional network through mentorship, team engagement, and intern program activities.\nAdditional Information\nWork location is Mexico, based on business need and internship assignment.\nInternship availability and project scope may vary by team, degree level, and business requirements.\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nPowered by SmartRecruiters -
