As a SoC development engineer, you will perform various functions including logic design, verification, implementation, and/or documentation for the SoC (System on a Chip) development. You will collaborate with other functional teams for micro-architecture, verification strategy/architecture, logic design, and system simulation for the SoC development based on system requirements and customer feature requests. Regular responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:\nPerform logic design and/or verification for functional units and sub-systems in SoC IP and/or full chip designs\nDevelop/review test and execution plans, ensuring that Solidigm’s semiconductor products will be successful\nUse industry-standard verification methodologies such as UVM, FW co-simulation, formal property verification, etc.\nContribute to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits\nPerform all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design synthesis to place and route, timing and power to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing.\nContinuously investigate new tools and technologies\nA successful candidate will demonstrate:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProject-based teamwork experience\nAdvanced digital logic design skills\nProactive engagement with stakeholders across the team and organization\nEffective time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities to ensure predictable delivery of projects\nDeveloping recommendations and negotiating solutions for tactical issues\nProactive identification of risks and issues\nAbility to create and deliver effective project presentations to diverse stakeholder audiences\nSuperior listening skills\n Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills supported by relevant experience\nDigital logic design and implementation experience in advanced technology nodes\nFamiliarity with performing functional verification, including verification methodologies such as UVM and FPV\nLanguages: C, C++, Python, Java, Verilog (or VHDL), and/or SystemVerilog\nPreferred Qualifications:\n10+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC development or equivalent\nAdvanced degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, etc.\nExperience working in technical teams to deliver complex designs\nFamiliarity with formal verification methods (e.g., SystemVerilog Assertions)\nFamiliarity with standard ASIC/SoC design flows including synthesis, DFT, STA, UPF, and ECO flows\nExperience in low-power design techniques\nExperience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) to track and manage project execution\nWorking knowledge of NVMe, PCIe, DDR and/or ARM standards\nFamiliarity with big box emulation platforms \nProven ability to architect and lead IP/SoC-level verification efforts \n At Solidigm Technology, we believe in transparency and fair compensation.
