The intern will gain exposure to procurement processes that enable supply continuity, cost management, and supplier performance. Position Summary\nSolidigm is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Intern to support strategic sourcing and supply-chain operations for integrated circuits (ICs) used in data-center SSD products. This six-month internship offers hands-on experience in supplier management, sourcing, planning, market research, data analytics, and responsible use of approved AI tools.\nWhat You Will Learn\nSupply Chain & Procurement Fundamentals: Understand suppliers, contracts, capacity, pricing, inventory, and demand planning.\nData, Digital Tools & AI: Use Excel, PowerPoint, approved AI tools, and business applications to analyze data, summarize insights, and support decisions.\nStakeholder Collaboration: Communicate with sourcing, engineering, operations, finance, legal, and supplier teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport IC sourcing activities, including supply assurance, pricing, capacity, allocation, inventory, RFQ, proposal, award, and commercial-term tracking.\nPrepare supplier and stakeholder communications, meeting materials, follow-ups, and documentation.\nCollect, validate, and analyze supplier, market, and supply-chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.\nResearch semiconductor market trends, supplier developments, pricing signals, and supply-chain risks.\nSupport supplier performance tracking, business continuity, risk mitigation activities, forecast alignment, demand supply coordination for ODM turnkey supply models.\nParticipate in cross-functional discussions to understand SSD build requirements and supply priorities.\nContribute to cost savings, process improvement, and value-engineering analysis through clear data summaries.\nUse approved AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, validation, and productivity improvement while protecting confidential information.\nMaintain accurate records and follow procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.\n Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, business, operations, engineering, or a related field.\nRelevant coursework, projects, internships, or work experience in supply chain, procurement, business/data analysis, operations, or vendor management preferred.\nInterest in semiconductors, technology supply chains, and data-center products.\nStrong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and detail-management skills.\nComfort using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, approved AI tools, and digital productivity applications.\nAble to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.\nProactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with willingness to learn from feedback.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExposure to planning, procurement, supplier management, or sourcing through coursework, projects, internships, or employment.\nExperience using AI tools and Excel for analysis, pivot tables, charts, dashboards, research summaries, or productivity improvement.\nFamiliarity with VMI, ODM manufacturing, semiconductor supply chains is helpful but not required.\nExperience in global, multicultural, or cross-functional team environments.\nWorking Conditions\nThis primarily office-based internship begins January 18, 2027 and offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with guidance from experienced professionals and ownership of meaningful assignments.\n Powered by SmartRecruiters -
