This role will work closely with validation, firmware and architecture teams to ensure world-class product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The engineer will be responsible for driving root cause investigations of issues from validation and integration failures, defining debug strategies, improving validation methodologies, and influencing future product designs through data-driven insights. The role requires technical expertise in storage technologies, deep system-level debugging, and validation engineering. In addition to validation activities, the candidate will contribute to automation initiatives, debug tool development, test framework improvements, and advanced analytics solutions that increase engineering efficiency and accelerate issue resolution.\n Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nRequired Qualifications:\n3+ years of experience in validation, debug, product engineering, firmware development, or related engineering roles.\nStrong experience debugging complex hardware, firmware, software, and system-level issues.\nUnderstanding of SSD architecture, NAND Flash technologies, and enterprise storage solutions.\nHands-on experience with PCIe, NVMe, and storage protocol analysis.\nExperience analyzing crash dumps, and hardware captures to determine root cause.\nStrong Linux troubleshooting and system administration skills.\nExperience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Perl, or similar languages.\nStrong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to lead technical investigations and drive cross-functional teams toward issue resolution.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nAbility to work onsite at our Zapopan location.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with enterprise SSD validation, qualification, or product development.\nKnowledge of PCIe analyzers, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, and hardware debug tools.\nExperience performing root cause analysis on PCIe, NVMe, firmware, and platform-related failures.\nUnderstanding of system firmware (BIOS/UEFI), BMC, Linux kernel behavior, and server architectures.\nExperience with UART and hardware signal analysis.\nFamiliarity with qualification methodologies, reliability testing, and failure mode analysis.\nKnowledge of AI-assisted debugging, Machine Learning applications, and advanced analytics techniques.\n Powered by SmartRecruiters -
