With strong communication skills and a consultative approach, you’re comfortable engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into effective outcomes.\nThe Role:\nWe are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer (SDET) to work with our government clients on delivering critical projects. You will be instrumental in delivering testing projects, working directly with clients and stakeholders and working closely with wider testing and technical teams.\nYou will ideally have a strong understanding of test planning and delivery, and be able to apply this in a hands-on approach.\nThis role will require 2 days per week, working from Coventry(Wednesday and Thursday). This would therefore suit someone located in the Midlands.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist with planning, execution and coordination of all testing activities\nAnalysing test requirements, designing and producing reusable test scripts.\nCreating and managing test regression packs.\nTest data creation to plan and manage test scripts.\nOvercoming obstacles, such as working with the team on clarification of requirements or seeing bugs through to resolution to deliver quality testing on time.\nReviewing test artefacts produced by peers.\nReviewing test results and modifying the test suites as necessary.\nCapturing, reporting & supporting the analysis of software bugs.\nExecuting test scripts from plans and accurately reporting where requirements are not being met.\nDefining and implementing key test KPIs to ensure high-quality standards are achieved\nContributing to release, deployment and change planning.\nKey Skills & Experience:\nExcellent communication skills, both oral and written.
