Our mission is to attract, retain and develop diverse and highly motivated, entrepreneurial employees striving to flawlessly deliver superior value to our customers every day.\nResponsibilities:\nParticipates in continuous improvement events and routinely participates in 5S activities.\nActively participates in shift relief (Tier 1 meeting).\nOperates complex equipment such as controls that regulate mix, feed, and flow of chemicals including responsibility for proper functioning of equipment in Apollo units.\nObserves data from controllers and recorders to make process changes and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment.\nRedirects or shuts off feeder lines during emergencies and alerts supervisor of action taken.\nParticipates on process improvement teams.\nMakes scheduled routine inspections of operating areas to observe operating conditions and reports any irregularities.\nCreates work notifications on equipment needing repair in operating area.\nCollects and records operating data, runs variety of routine control checks during operations and makes appropriate operational changes. \nMakes process changes as necessary to meet various operational requirements.\nMakes minor repairs to operating equipment as needed.\nFollows standard practices and procedures as established for plant operations.\nModifies/Reviews operating procedures on an annual basis.\nRequired member of emergency brigade.\nPotential OJT certification and training of new operators as required.\nPerforms all necessary housekeeping duties in area.\nHazardous waste sampling, hazardous waste packaging/loading duties, container marking and labeling, hazardous waste container handling and management, respond to chemical spills and releases, and conduct and document routine inspections\n You Must Have:\nExperienced in a chemical manufacturing plant\nKnowledgeable in safety, quality and process controls\nAble to climb 200 foot of stairs at times, Able to work in PPE, Able to open close valves up to 100 lbs of force, Able to lift up to 100 pounds.\nValid driver's license\nTWIC Card eligible\nWe Value:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nExperience with OSHA/PSM regulations\nSome experience working within a manufacturing environment\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS\nDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.\nCompensation:\nThe annual base hourly range for this position is $34 Per Hour.
