Your role extends beyond mere compliance, demanding an in-depth understanding of regulatory standards and the ability to navigate evolving landscapes with adaptability and foresight.\nThe Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility equipment, utilities, grounds, and infrastructure. This role leads preventive and predictive maintenance programs, manages maintenance personnel, supports production objectives, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nYou will report directly to our Director Plant Operations and you’ll work out of our Orange, TX location on an On-site work schedule.\n Leadership & Team Development\nProvide leadership, coaching, and direction to maintenance technicians and supervisors.\nEstablish performance expectations and conduct performance evaluations.\nCoordinate training and development activities for maintenance personnel.\nPromote employee engagement, teamwork, and accountability.\nEnsure proper staffing and scheduling to support operational needs.\nMaintenance Operations\nDevelop and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.\nPrioritize and schedule maintenance work to minimize equipment downtime.\nMonitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvements.\nEnsure timely completion of work orders and maintenance requests.\nManage facility maintenance including buildings, grounds, HVAC, utilities, and infrastructure. \nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.\nLead Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance efforts.\nConduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.\nInvestigate maintenance-related incidents and implement corrective actions.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in emergency response planning and preparedness activities.\nBudget & Cost Management\nDevelop and manage maintenance budgets.\nMonitor labor, parts, contractor, and equipment expenditures.\nIdentify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising safety or reliability.\nManage inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.\nReview and approve maintenance-related purchases.\nReliability & Continuous Improvement\nAnalyze equipment failures and identify root causes.\nImplement reliability-centered maintenance initiatives.\nLead continuous improvement and capital improvement projects.Utilize KPIs such as: \nDowntime\nOEE\nWork order completion rates\nPreventive maintenance compliance\nMaintenance costs \n\nContractor & Vendor Management\nSelect, coordinate, and supervise outside contractors and service providers.\nEnsure contractor compliance with company safety requirements.\nEvaluate vendor performance and negotiate service agreements when appropriate. \nAdministrative Responsibilities\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.\nUtilize CMMS software to manage work orders and preventive maintenance schedules.\nPrepare reports and presentations for leadership.\nSupport audits and regulatory inspections.\n YOU MUST HAVE\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred;\nOR Equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant maintenance leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.\n3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.\nExperience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.\nKnowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.\nExperience with CMMS systems.\nWE VALUE\nManufacturing or industrial environment experience.\nOSHA, safety, or maintenance certifications.\nLean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.\nTPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience.\nProject management experience.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to walk production and facility areas routinely.\nAbility to occasionally lift up to 35 pounds.\nAbility to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces when necessary.\nAbility to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.\nPAY RANGE\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $175,195 - 218,700. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
