You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of the site's commitment to the organization and its customers.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide plant wide electrical coverage for troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment on fixed shift basis\nTroubleshoot and Repair Electrical and Automation Control Systems including: Industrial networking - Ethernet, IP, switches, wiring methods Industrial PC’s - hardware, operating systems, peripherals.\nHMI’s - Intouch, FactoryTalk View\nPLC’s - Rockwell Logix family, GE Series 90 and GE RXi\nMaintenance / Programming Software - experience using RS Logix\nMotor Control - full voltage, VFDs (Power Flex, Parker)\nSafety Systems - Safety PLCs, Relays, Scanners, Light Curtains, Mats\nInstrumentation - Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level, Weight, Speed\nElectrical Power - protective devices, power supplies, 480v,120v,24v\nTools - use of meters, calibration/test equipment, and common hand tools\n\nPerform prescribed preventive maintenance of electrical and control system equipment.\nAssist in identifying, investigating, and recommending solutions for repeat equipment failures.\nContinue to improve technical skills through formal, informal, and hands-on training.\nOccasionally assist site maintenance mechanics with mechanical repairs.\nDemonstrated commitment to work safely and to perform complete and safe repairs\nAbility to work both alone and in a team-environment applying good practices, making sound decisions, and working safely at times with minimal supervision.\nPerform rotating weekend call-in coverage, work overtime and provide vacation coverage, as assigned. May need to cover overtime on short notice.\nAbility to stand for up to 2 hours, squat for up to 5 minutes, kneel for up to 15 minutes and walk up to ½ mile at a time.\nAbility to lift and frequently carry up to 8 pounds, andoccasionally up to 35 pounds.\nAbility to work safely and confidently from ladders or scissors lift.\n Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment\nConduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and compliance with standards\nAssist in the implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste\nCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions\nMaintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status\n You Must Have:\nGood understanding of electrical concepts, standards, and technology and the ability to use common tools and accepted practices to safely work with Industrial Electrical / Control Systems.\n1+ year of experience with troubleshooting and repair of Industrial electrical/control systems - 24v to 480v. \nAdditional Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nTwo-year Associates degree in Automation / Controls, Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation, Computer, or related technical field.\nIn lieu of degree, demonstrated equivalent experience gained from role in military assignments and/or previous industrial work experience.\nExperience working in an industrial manufacturing setting.\nExperience working on continuous (running) production processes.\nUnderstanding and adherence to NFPA 70E, Safe Electrical Work Practices\nSolid PC skills and proficiency with PC applications.\nExperience seeking sound solutions and desire to follow best practices.\nMaintaining a customer focus and a safety mindset in everything you do.\nCompensation:\nThe annual base hourly range for this position is $32 to $33 Per Hour.
