The engineer will work closely with technical leads and client stakeholders while taking ownership of major engineering components.\nLocation: Noida, India – Onsite | Employment Type: Full-Time | Experience: 6–9 Years\n\nKey Responsibilities\nData Engineering\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.\nBuild ingestion and transformation solutions across databases, APIs, files, and enterprise applications.\nDevelop high-quality SQL and Python-based data processing solutions.\nImplement batch and incremental data-processing patterns.\nDevelop reusable engineering components and frameworks.\nSupport complex data migration and transformation activities.\nPerform source-to-target mapping and technical data analysis.\nImplement pipeline logging, monitoring, exception handling, and recovery mechanisms.\nDatabase & Platform Engineering\nDesign and optimize relational database schemas and data structures.\nAnalyze and improve SQL/query performance.\nSupport indexing, partitioning, storage optimization, and database performance.\nImplement appropriate database security and access controls.\nSupport database monitoring, availability, backup/recovery, and operational requirements in collaboration with infrastructure/platform teams.\nTroubleshoot database and pipeline performance issues.\nContribute to cloud data-platform configuration and optimization.\nData Quality\nImplement automated validation and data-quality controls.\nDevelop reconciliation processes between source and target systems.\nIdentify duplicate, incomplete, inconsistent, and invalid data.\nImplement cleansing, standardization, validation, and exception-management logic.\nWork with technical and business stakeholders to understand and implement business data rules.\nTechnical Delivery\nConvert technical designs into reliable production solutions.\nParticipate in technical design and code reviews.\nMentor junior/mid-level engineers.\nSupport estimation and technical planning.\nTroubleshoot complex production and integration issues.\nCollaborate with technical leads, application teams, DevOps, QA, BI, and client teams.\nDocument technical designs, mappings, configurations, operational procedures, and engineering decisions.\nConsulting & AI-Led Working\nUnderstand the business purpose behind assigned engineering requirements.\nRaise risks, assumptions, dependencies, and potential improvements proactively.\nCommunicate effectively with client and internal stakeholders.\nUse AI-assisted tools to improve coding, testing, analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting productivity.\nIndependently verify AI-generated code and recommendations before implementation.\nIdentify opportunities for engineering automation and process improvement.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n6–9 years of experience in data engineering, database engineering, data integration, or related areas.\nAdvanced SQL skills.\nStrong hands-on Python experience.\nStrong ETL/ELT development experience.\nStrong relational database knowledge, such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or equivalent.\nExperience with data modeling and database design.\nExperience with AWS, Azure, or another major cloud platform.\nExperience with modern data technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, Glue, ADF, Airflow, dbt, or equivalent.\nExperience with performance tuning and optimization.\nExperience with data validation and reconciliation.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nAbility to take ownership of engineering deliverables with limited supervision.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with enterprise ERP, CRM, PIM, PLM, MES, or related systems.\nExperience with manufacturing, retail, distribution, or consumer-goods data.\nExperience with CI/CD and infrastructure/platform engineering practices.\nExperience with API and event-driven integrations.\nPrevious consulting or
