Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.\nJob Description:\n*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned .\nPosition Responsibilities and Duties:\nBESS Design SupportCreate preliminary BESS layouts and single line diagrams using templates\nPerform review of bid drawings to internal standards and document differences\nReview RFPs and evaluate against our standard designs. Documents and communicate unique specifications to necessary parties.\nWorks with Business Development and Estimating to ensure an appropriate response is made to an RFP\nPerforms basic electrical engineering calculations to support design\n\nCAD DraftingCreate and modify electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD. \n\nCode and Regulatory ResearchResearch and stay current on all applicable electrical codes/standards, including NEC and NFPA 855\n\nProject CollaborationParticipate in design reviews and collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines and project teams. \n\nDocumentation and ReportingAssist in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and specifications. \nMaintenance of accurate project documentation, including design revision/iteration history.\n\nMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. \nEIT (Engineer in Training) certification or on track to obtain it. \nDemonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook\nBasic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including wire sizing, current calculations \nBasic knowledge of applicable building codes, engineering principles, and industry best practices\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy. \nAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. \nCommitment to safety\nStrong sense of urgency\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
