This position is team oriented, fast paced and responsible for the coordination and completion of the assigned projects.This role focuses on working closely with Project engineering team on engineering design deliverables, track both internal and external design comments, RFI management, assist engineering team in finalizing Bill of Materials and overall project document management.\nThis role is fully remote. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.\nJob Description:\n*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.\nPosition Responsibilities and Duties:\nClosely work with Precon PM, Internal and external engineering team. \nMaintain project documentation and systems including drawings, RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, cost tracking, quality documentation, and CMiC records.\nSupport subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general project engineering functions with engineering and Operations. \nSupport the transition from preconstruction to construction by coordinating project documentation, scope definition, LNTP development, and operational readiness for project execution teams. \nProvide general project engineering support including meeting coordination, document management, cost reporting, subcontractor interface, and other responsibilities necessary to support successful Energy Storage project delivery. \nCollaborate with engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations teams to validate design assumptions, equipment lead times, installation strategies, and project logistics while identifying risks related to constructability, cost, and schedule. \nAssist in development, review, and maintenance of project schedules (CPM) and construction work plans, ensuring alignment between engineering deliverables, procurement activities, and field execution requirements. \nTrack design changes, scope updates, and engineering revisions that may impact project cost, schedule, or construction methodology, coordinating with engineering and project management teams to maintain project alignment. \nSupport development and review of Energy Storage EPC project execution plans, including constructability reviews, installation methodologies, site logistics, and construction sequencing to ensure alignment with scope, schedule milestones, and cost targets. \nParticipate in the technical review of EPC contract documents, project specifications, bid packages, and subcontractor proposals to ensure completeness, constructability, and alignment with project execution strategies. \nMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements\n1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design-related experience, or equivalent \nConstruction related internship experience preferred \nEnergy Storage Field experience a plus \nBasic understanding of construction cost accounting \nBasic estimating and scheduling skills \nBasic computer skills \nAbility to read and understand plans and specifications \nEffective organizational skills \nEffective written and verbal English language communication skills \nAbility to use independent judgment; self-starting \nDrafting and advanced computer skills a plus \nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
