Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.\nJob Description:\n*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned\nPosition Responsibilities and Duties:\nAssist the Superintendent in managing and coordinating field construction activities, providing direction to crews and subcontractors to ensure safe and productive work.\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, training, and coordination of field personnel, helping to reinforce a culture of safety, teamwork, and quality.\nMaintain positive relationships with Owners, Engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams through professional communication and reliable follow-through.\nEnforce SOLV Energy safety policies and participate in all required safety training; help ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and company standards.\nMonitor work quality by performing inspections and audits; verify that construction activities follow plans, specifications, and SOLV Energy requirements.\nAssist in planning and managing materials, tools, and equipment needs; track deliveries and help prevent delays or reactive (“crisis”) purchasing.\nSupport the development and maintenance of project schedules (CPM) by communicating progress, identifying potential delays, and coordinating with the Superintendent and Project Management.\nReview drawings, specifications, and subcontractor submittals to support project readiness and field execution.\nParticipate in pre-job meetings, daily huddles, subcontractor coordination meetings, and site walk-throughs to align teams on expectations and progress.\nPrepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, time sheets, work orders, and invoice approvals.\nAssist in documenting, tracking, and completing punch-list items to support timely project close-out.\nSupport start-up testing, commissioning, and turnover activities; assist in preparing close-out packages and ensuring Owner acceptance.\nWork with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, designers, and owners to help resolve field issues, interpret plans, and improve work processes.\nPerform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Superintendent or project leadership.\nMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:\nEngineering, construction management, or architectural degree, or equivalent experience (2-4 years as General Foreman)\nField construction experience at a supervisory level\nExperience in utility-scale solar projects.\nKnowledge of construction methods, practices, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC.\nStrong knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.\nWorking knowledge of all trades, with the ability to read and understand specifications for all crafts.\nExperience conducting constructability reviews and coordinating with estimating teams to develop accurate project cost estimates.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
