This position is team oriented, fast paced and responsible for the coordination and completion of the assigned projects.This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Los Banos, CA and will require travel. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.\nJob Description:\n*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned\nPosition Responsibilities and Duties:\nAble to perform all essential Entry Level/Intern Project Engineer responsibilities\n\nAttend and document project meetings (write minutes)\n\nSet up and maintain electronic filing system\n\nUpdate and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs\n\nAssist with preparation of CPM schedules\n\nAssist with updating and maintaining master CPM schedule\n\nEvaluate and understand basic construction means and methods\n\nMaintain a site specific safety plan and pre-task planning process, including audits, meeting, training, etc.\n\nDistribute all documents to subcontractors and maintain document logs\n\nEvaluate field problems and document PCI’s\n\nPrepare and maintain PCI logs on CMiC system\n\nReview, analyze, and transmit submittals\n\nPrepare and maintain submittal logs and procurement log\n\nPerform expediting functions\n\nCost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets\n\nCode Accounts Payable Workflows as assigned\n\nVerify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports\n\nReport quantities in place and maintain labor cost report\n\nPrepare and document extra work orders\n\nReview and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys\n\nMaintain PCI log in CMiC system\n\nSet up and maintain a Quality Management system\n\nMaintain progress photo album\n\nCompile contract close out documents (O&M manuals, as-builts, etc.)\n\nMaintain record set drawings\n\nDocument punch list work\n\nPerform basic functions of Building Information Modeling and model administration\n\nComplete other responsibilities as assigned\n\nMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:\n1-3 years of construction-related experience, or equivalent\n\nConstruction related internship experience preferred\n\nField experience a plus - e.g. carpenter\n\nBasic understanding of construction cost accounting\n\nBasic estimating and scheduling skills\n\nBasic computer skills\n\nAbility to read and understand plans and specifications\n\nEffective organizational skills\n\nEffective written and verbal English language communication skills\n\nAbility to use independent judgment; self-starting\n\nDrafting and advanced computer skills a plus\n\nKnowledge of virtual construction technology systems preferred\n\nSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
