Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.\nJob Description:\n*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned\nPosition Responsibilities and Duties:\nPerform allGeneralElectricalSuperintendent duties.\n\nFostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and quality.\n\nPromote career development and mentor future field leaders.\n\nDevelop andmaintainstrong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors tofacilitatecommunication, resolve issues, and drive projectobjectives.\n\nEnforce safety procedures andparticipatein Safety Training Programs.\n\nSet andmaintainwork quality standards; conduct inspections and audits to verify adherence to specifications and Solv Energy standards.\n\nConduct constructability reviews, collaborate with project teams, and develop solutions for electrical scopes.\n\nInput inCPM schedules, coordinating with teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.\n\nPartner with estimating teams to ensureaccurateproject cost estimates and proposals.\n\nChair or attend subcontractor meetings,monitorpunch list progress, and ensuretimelycompletion of project activities.\n\nProvide regular progress updates to executive leadership.\n\nServe asliaisonwith Ownersas it relates to electrical scope.\n\nEnforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures andmaintaina high standard of electrical safety\n\nCollaborate effectively with mechanical and civilteamleadersto ensure a well-run, successful projects\n\nReview and approve energized electrical work permits\n\nWork closely with General Electrical Superintendents and teams to help build up SOLV’s electricalinfrastructure\n\nProvide pre-construction support\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:\nOperations management experience\n\nPrefer 15 years of extensive electrical construction experience with 10 years at a supervisory level.\n\nPrefer 5 years' experience in utility scale solar construction.\n\nWorking knowledge of OSHA, NFPA70e, NEC, and IEEE standards and codes.\n\nKnowledge of job scheduling, planning,expediting,and cost control.\n\nPrefer5 years’ experience with MV testing and terminations.\n\nPrefer 5 years’ experience with SCADA systems.\n\nExtensive knowledge of PV solar systems and DC cable systems\n\nProficient in underground electrical installations, including cable pulling through conduits and bores and direct-buried AC/DC feeder installations\n\nExperience with inverter skid underground installation, setting, terminations, and testing\n\nStrong knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning\n\nValid current driver’s license.\n\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
