Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.\nJob Description:\n*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned\nPosition Responsibilities and Duties:\nAble to perform all essential Entry Level/Intern Project Engineer responsibilities \nAttend and document project meetings (write minutes) \nSet up and maintain electronic filing system \nUpdate and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs \nAssist with defining and creating LNTPs \nAssist with ensuring preconstruction activities align with LNTPs,scope, budget, and schedules \nLiaison with the Engineering Manager to track changes that impact project schedule and/or budget and provide those changes to the Project Executive \nSupport Operations and/or Contracts Teams in tracking EPC exhibits \nAssist with preparation of CPM schedules \nAssist with updating and maintaining master CPM schedule \nEvaluate and understand basic construction means and methods \nMaintain a site-specific safety plan and pre-task planning process, including audits, meeting, training, etc. \nDistribute all documents to project partners and maintain document logs \nReview, analyze, and transmit submittals \nPrepare and maintain RFI, submittal and procurement logs \nCode Accounts Payable Workflows or verify correct codes as assigned \nVerify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports \nMaintain PCI log in CMiC system \nSet up and maintain a Quality Management system \nPrepare billings and expedite payments \nSet up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system \nAssist in preparing bid packages, soliciting, and evaluating bids \nAssist in writing project procedures \nComplete other responsibilities as assigned \nMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:\n1-3 years of construction-related experience, or equivalent \nConstruction related internship experience preferred \nField experience a plus \nBasic understanding of construction cost accounting \nBasic estimating and scheduling skills \nBasic computer skills \nAbility to read and understand plans and specifications \nEffective organizational skills \nEffective written and verbal English language communication skills \nAbility to use independent judgment; self-starting \nDrafting and advanced computer skills a plus \nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
