Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.\nJob Description:\n*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; itdoes not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned\nPosition Responsibilities and Duties:\nExecute the design and development of SCADA integration componentsand systems for utility scale renewable energy projects including Solar PV and BatteryEnergy Storage Systems\n\nWork within a team environment to define and implement product design standards and best practices that align with company goals and objectives.\n\nReview and implements project-specificrequirements for assigned scope.\n\nGenerate device points lists, HMI mockups &assets, commissioning test plans andcompletion checklists, utilizing companydefined documentationand standards.\n\nProgram and commission SCADAservers, data historians, andHMI systems.\n\nReview project closeout documentation including commissioning documents, as-built drawings, operator manuals andtraining material to verify all contractual deliverables have been met.\n\nProvide intermediatelevel technical support for diverse SCADAequipment configurations.\n\nParticipate in technical discussions with customers and partners.\n\nAssist with maintaining a centralizedknowledge base.\n\nApply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting of complex plant monitoring and control systems.\n\nCoordinate with customers and field technicians for on-site commissioning and installation support.\n\nIdentify and learn appropriatesoftware and hardware used and supported by the organization.\n\nCollaborate with cross functional teams where necessary to support platformdevelopment and data integration.\n\nProvide project status reports to the OTS project management team, support risk mitigation measures as needed to maintain projectgoals and objectives.\n\nPromote and adhere to a culture of NERC compliance andgovernance with respect to programming and commissioning standards, documentation, reporting, knowledge transfer and training.\n\nSupport the SOLV Operations centeras necessary for project integrations and handoffs.\n\nObjectives or Goals to Measure Performance:\nMaintaining design, programming, documentation andcommissioning standards\n\nMaintain resiliency and continuity within our system independent of key knowledge holders\n\nAdherence to Company policies and procedures\n\nSuccessful execution of project scope, schedule, and budget\n\nUnderstanding of and adherence to safety and quality procedures and practices\n\nCustomer/client satisfaction and retention\n\nImproved personal professional growth and education\n\nEmployee satisfaction and retention\n\nPositive team-focused attitude\n\nPromote a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing\n\nEffective utilization ofproject management, scheduling, andtask management tools\n\nMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:\n2 - 4 years of SCADA engineering experience (experience working within renewable energy including; industrial or utility scale PV solar, BESS, or Wind desired). Proficiency with programminglanguages including Python.\n\nIntermediate working knowledge of Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform.\n\nIntermediate working knowledge of relational databases, and SCADA applications.\n\nFamiliarity withindustry recognized PLC equipment including but not limited to Schweitzer Engineering RTAC Platform, Allen Bradley Control / CompactLogix platform, GE / Emerson RX3i,or similar “named variable” PLC environments.\n\nFamiliar with the installation and commissioning of SCADA networks using; FiberOptics, Serial RS-232 / RS-485, and Ethernet TCP/IP.\n\nStrong knowledge of industrial automation protocols including but not limited to; Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, OPC UA and DA.\n\nProficiency in reading and developing diagrams and schematics including but not limited to, power system, networking and control, electrical, mechanical andcivil layouts.\n\nAbility to work with sub-contractors and field personnel.\n\nProficiency withvarious project management, scheduling, andtask management tools.\n\nExcellent Communication Skills.\n\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.\nSOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer\nAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
