Solve Education is a social enterprise that expands access to education and job opportunities for young people. It has launched a recruitment line, Solve Employment, that places talent with employers, and it hires remote staff in Indonesia for content, marketing, business development and software roles. The organization is based in Singapore.

Solve Education! is hiring a Program Manager who can operate at a high standard in a demanding, fast-moving, and execution-focused environment. This role requires more than coordination - it calls for leadership, strategic oversight, and the ability to deliver complex programs under pressure.

You’ll be responsible for how Solve Education!’s programs are designed, implemented, and evaluated. From strategy development to real-time problem-solving, this role covers full-cycle program management, stakeholder engagement, and performance tracking - all with minimal supervision and tight timelines. This is a position for someone who is ready to lead by doing, not waiting for direction.

Before You Apply

This role is not light, routine, or heavily guided. You’ll be expected to make decisions with incomplete information, move quickly across multiple priorities, and ensure program success with little margin for error. You must stay calm under pressure, take full ownership of outcomes, and deliver measurable results - even when requirements shift mid-week or feedback requires immediate turnaround.

If you’re seeking a role that will stretch your leadership capacity, sharpen your execution instincts, and accelerate your growth - and you’re prepared to meet high expectations - we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

You will lead the end-to-end strategy and delivery of programs, ensuring strong execution, operational rigor, stakeholder alignment, and measurable impact.

  • Program Strategy & Execution: Design and deliver programs aligned with Solve Education!’s mission and priorities. Translate strategic objectives into clear workplans, timelines, and deliverables, proactively managing risks and adjustments.
  • Team & Stakeholder Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams, partners, and beneficiaries to ensure alignment and accountability. Provide guidance and oversight to program staff, interns, or volunteers, and cultivate strong relationships with funders and external stakeholders.
  • Operational & Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day program operations, including budgets, resources, and reporting. Ensure efficiency, compliance with internal policies, and adherence to donor and partner requirements.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting: Track KPIs, outcomes, and impact against targets. Lead structured, evidence-based reporting and use data insights to strengthen performance and organizational learning.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Respond decisively to operational challenges, maintaining readiness to adapt programs to evolving needs, risks, or opportunities.
  • Technology-Enabled Execution: Leverage tools such as Google Workspace, project management platforms, and AI solutions to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and support program scalability.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, project management, or equivalent leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects independently with high accountability.
  • Willing to work onsite in our HQ in Bandung.
  • Willing and flexible to travel domestically and internationally when required, including conducting on-site visits to partner locations and communities across different cities or countries.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (interviews will be conducted in English).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with experience managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, project management software, and reporting tools.
  • High attention to detail, discipline, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Fast learner with initiative and a solution-first mindset.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience managing education, youth, or non-profit sector programs.
  • Knowledge of monitoring & evaluation frameworks and impact reporting.
  • Experience managing budgets and donor/partner reporting requirements.
  • Applied experience using AI tools for project management or reporting.
  • Previous experience leading geographically distributed or multicultural teams.

What You’ll Gain

This role offers real ownership and high visibility. You’ll grow rapidly by leading programs that make a measurable difference and by shaping how a global non-profit achieves impact at scale. If you perform well, you won’t just learn - you’ll build a track record of program leadership that demonstrates speed, accuracy, and meaningful results.

About Solve Education!

Solve Education! is a global non-profit dedicated to preparing young people for the future of work through scalable, digital solutions. In this role, you’ll be at the center of program design and delivery, ensuring that our initiatives connect with learners, partners, and communities worldwide to create lasting impact.
